#3404 Superb Old Chinese Hand Painted Round Box W/Rooster 8.75" D

Antique Chinese round  box  made with one single piece of bamboo and hand-stitched with natural rattan. The hat box is hand painted with traditional Chinese design motif of a rooster with vibrant colors. The colors are all from Natural dyes. The box was originally made for storing personal hat during Qing dynasty. Original patina and wear. Circa 1900.
