This exquisite ottoman features a newly upholstered design, using old handmade Kasai Velvet kuba cloth with an embroidered geometric pattern made from raffia, a material derived from palm trees. The brown faux leather cotton adds a touch of luxury to the piece. Originally used as currency, Kasai cloths were highly sought after for trade, dowries, and exchanges.
