This 19th century Caucasian Chagli long rug boasts a rare and exquisite design, featuring a dark blue ground and an ivory border with ascending five square medallions. Adorned with totemic designs and various animals, this rug showcases expert craftsmanship and the use of natural dyes. Despite its age, it remains in good condition (with the exception of a small cut and minor restorations, as seen in the pictures) and has been carefully washed and cleaned. The dimensions of the rug are approximately 10'3" x 4'9" (123 in x 57") and it is woven on wool warps and wefts. The majority of the sides are original, with only minor repairs.
