Stunning Malian African Marka Janus-Faced Mask with exquisite detail and is adorned with colorful cotton tassels. With a rich history closely tied to the Bamana people, the Marka use masks for cultural ceremonies and rituals, despite heavy Islamization in present day. This piece may be associated with the N'Tomo initiation mask for young boys, as seen in similar Bamana traditions. While some minor losses  and hair lines are present, this mask is in overall excellent condition
