Vintage 20th century hand-carved and hand-painted solid wood Old Pintail duck decoy. This substantial piece measures 17" deep by 5" wide by 8" high. Beautifully carved with fine detailing, hand-painted finish, and inlaid glass eyes that bring the bird to life. This flat-bottom decoy was actively used in the field and has developed a rich patina from decades of age. Signed "D B" by the maker.
