This vintage African Guro Mask from Guru, Kweni on the Ivory Coast features a hand-carved Portrait Birds mask with pigments. It measures approximately 14" high by 6.5" wide by 5.75" deep and has a great patina. Ritual and ceremonial masks are an integral part of the traditional culture of the peoples of Sub-Saharan Africa.
