This unique, rare, and superb ornamental tribal wall hanging is handcrafted by the Mamaindê tribe of Brazil. The piece is made with coconut beads and river shells interlaced with coconut beads. It measures 24" in size and is from a population of 2332 people, belonging to the Nambikwara language family. The Mamaindê occupy the regions of Mato Grosso and Rondônia, consisting of the Chapada dos Parecis, the Guaporé Valley, and northern areas with sandy soil and Cerrado vegetation.
