#5633 late 19Th C Chinoiserie Hand Painted Famille Rose Ginger Jar with Wood Lid and Stand

This late 19th century porcelain ginger jar was fired by wood and boasts a hand-painted Chinoiserie famille rose design. The lid is made of wood and features minor wood loss (as shown in the pictures), depicting figures in vivid colors and costumes. It rests on a modern lotus flower-shaped wooden stand and is marked with CHINA and Chinese characters on the bottom. The jar has a 5" height and 6.5" diameter with the stand included by 5" diameter.
