Superb and rare unique Ornamental piece Tribal Belt  hand made of tiny  Coconut beads and two rows of  river shells interlaced with coconut beads ,By the Brazilian Tribe the Mamaindê.

Approximate size:  30" and 49"W  with the buriti fiber  straps by 4" H

The Mamaindê, who are part of the northern Nambikwara, live in the state of Mato Grosso and Rondônia together with other peoples. This territory comprises the Chapada dos Parecis, the Guaporé Valley and a region further north. They usually establish their villages in elevated areas with sandy soil and typical Cerrado vegetation.
