 Chinese Colorful Famille Rose Snuff Bottle adorned with hand-painted roosters and peonies. Roosters, representing faithfulness and punctuality, have a symbolic meaning of auspiciousness. Historically, crowing of roosters signaled the end of night. With dimensions of 3.25" h  1" diameter, Snuff Bottle  was used by Chinese and Mongolians for powdered tobacco during the Qing Dynasty.
