Wonderful old large Bronze Scorpion from the LOBI peoples of Burkina Faso, West African,Created using the lost wax method of bronze casting, this is a unique example of African Art. Scorpion motif. Many of the pieces  we offer have small imperfections that occur in this type of casting. The fact that they are as good as they are is an indication they were created by a master craftsman. Many of the pieces show age and use.
