#210 Old circa 1930 Korean Book Shelf Etagere 66" H

Elegant old circa 1930 's Known in Korean as chaekjang , this cubic etagere consists of  two open shelves and a middle and  lower storage space with doors .  High relief brass forms  designs and patterns refer to the various shapes that were used to adorn the pieces  for longevity ,and good fortune  etc.. Books, curios, porcelains and scholar objects would be showcased to the guest as a reflection of the culture of the owners.  20" w by 66" h by 13" D .
