#1268 VTG Large African Bobo/Bwa Tribal Dance Sun Mask/Sculpture 30" H

This impressive large hand-carved plank mask, hand carved  from a single piece of wood, features a round shape with a prominent face, elongated nose, concentric circular eyes, and an open round mouth. Identified as a Sun mask, it is traditionally used in agricultural ceremonies to bless the crops. The mask measures approximately  30" H and 27" wide, and 3" deep.
