Superb hand carved of one piece of wood African Tribal Milk stool or headrest
from the Baule or Senufo Tribe, Ivory Coast, the stool is in a geometric form of a bird 27.5" w by 10" d and 10" Hseat 8" H traditionally used to milk the cows or for the cattlemen to rest their heads on while herding cows and bulls long distances.There are minor splits, scrapes and cracks are a normal part of their patina attesting to their age and extensive use. Please look carefully at the pictures which may also reveal condition and damage.
