Superb and unique hand carved wood with double doors medicine /or Tobacco leafs standing cabinet originates from the Dogon tribe. It Stands on Three legs with a Latch. High relief carved figures of the Nommos on the door to evokes health and longevity... The sacred bird sculpture on the top serve as protection figure. The back has the figure of a crocodile the side figures traditional symbol from the Dogon mythology.
The carvings are made by the village blacksmiths
